I had it happen too a long time ago. Went away once I updated the Predator.

Never had the throttle stick but I can confirm the never ending rev's. Once it's up it stays up for quite some time.

Mine will do it in neutral or park. Never noticed it happen on the highway. I always put off as a fact that so much fuel was dumped into the system that it took a bit of time to burn it off. with a gas engine you close the air off and it quits, not the case with a diesel. Be interested in know what the real deal is with it.

the rpms will stay up where every you left off the throttle last..takes a while for it to come back down in neutral or park atleast 5-6 min and if not i just shut the truck off
i posted videos of this on dieseltruckresource...ill try and find them again

that is pretty much what my truck does. there was no sound, not sure if it that is my problem or the vids. I just do not notice any real problem when driving. I try never to rev my truck while sitting, Do you have the latest rev in the programmer and any new upgrades to the tunes? Might be one way to fix it a bit.

That is a diesel engine. Once you dump fuel in the only control is air and with no load it takes a bit to burn it out.

its def not just the diesel, many other trucks ive been in with programmers dont do what mine does....just yesterday i was towing heavy load 15k+, goin down a small slight hill and letting off the throttle from high revs the truck keeps pulling and im holding down the brakes trying to get it to stop or slow down...its not safe....if i get time ill post another vid and rev the thing and ull see that the revs will stay up so high that i will have to shut it down to stop it

not like that, There is a issue with his tune that he is using. What you are talking about is one or two seconds at the most. Not this,

It's the tune not the tuner.
best to update your tuner and reload to truck.

I have tried ALL the custom tunes and updates Diablo offers and the only 2 tunes that dont do it are the tow and tow stack tunes. Diablo has offered no explaination or help with this. Bought to buy a bully dog because of this. Borrowed one from a friend, makes just as much power and no surging.

I wish I had en explanation for this.

You have not really said if you tried updating the tool, only that you have tried all of the tunes.
Can you confirm the revision?
