1999-02 GM Predator PC interface
The 99-02 GM interface uses .crg files which are 497kb in size.

Hardware required:
12VDC 1.0A Power supply
DB-9 9-pin Serial Cable Extension (Radio Shack part no: 26.117B)

Download / install “PC Interface for GM Predator” software, follow the steps to finish install.

Once Install completed:

NOTE:Before uploading the tune to PC the following step must be done.

1/With the tune installed in vehicle, go to "Tune It".
2/ Go into "Troubleshooting" and select "Save current Data" the Predator will now
save the tune that is in the vehicle. 
(Note: If no tune is installed it will read original factory tune)


Upload tune from predator to PC

1/ open software
2/ plug serial into predator
3/ turn on power for predator
4/ go to options, then highlight PC communication (do not press enter) leave Predator on that menu
5/ in software: click on "Vehicle Current File" and in the window enter your VIN number
6/ Click "OK"
7/Go to Predator and click the enter button, on the bottom left of the software screen you should see "communicating" then it would start to show numbers, this indicates that the tool is uploading the file to your PC.

8/ Once file is uploaded attach it to an e-mail and send it to us.

Download tune from PC to Predator

1/ open software
2/ plug serial into predator
3/ turn on power for predator
4/ go to options, then PC communications leave Predator on that menu
5/ In the software, click on "Performance File", select file that you    wish to load into     Predator.
6/ Go to Predator and click the enter button, on the bottom left of the software screen you should see "communicating" then it would start to show numbers, this indicates that the PC is uploading the file to your Predator.

To get a file from the web. (Dealers Only)

**Ensure that your PC is connected to the internet**

1/ Click "Download performance file from web", enter your login and
    password.
2/ Accept agreement
3/ Enter VIN number and select file from list.
4/ Follow instructions on how to download tune from PC to Predator.

Troubleshooting:

Com setup Failed = Your com port is not configured properly, try to go to options and port settings and try a different com port as your default com port can be different.
X-modem timeout = You did not press the buttons in the right sequence, read instructions and try it again, this could also be improper com port configuration.
